If you were here before you will remember from the last blog I was going to look into the Adwords world in the Google Arsenal instead I found myself looking into tracking the ads and the visits to the ads and site, Google Analytics was the program I came across, this is genuinely useful piece of kit that let me know about visits to the site or sites if you have more than one and much much more! Try the tour and find out. Affilliates was the search I was on next an find I did! Most companies are happy for you to promote their wares allowing you to earn from their gain from you. ClickBank on its own provides a lot but it pays to take it easy as there are a lot more benefits from shopping around. Most internet companies have affilliate programs and as a norm they display their affiliate link at the bottom of their page. Adsense have guidelines that need to be adhered to although they will if need be remove content (Check out the Terms) Searching for content directly linked to the subject I found others useful. These I have placed on the main page and are all very useful. In addition I added a Counter to keep track of visitors to the site; this seems to count your own offline visits but is a good indication of frequency. Adbrite was another addition along with Affiliatebot with a goldmine of other affiliate programs to join! It might be a bit late to suggest but a brand new Email address for all of this as it keeps all returning signup details in one place. Well I am going to finish for today and try not to get side tracked from Adwords again although I am hoping that my efforts on EBay are going to fund the use of Adwords as that bit needs funding!!
